Food and Nutrition Surveillance System is a systematic process of collection, analysis, interpretation and dissemination of data, collected generally using methods distinguished by being practical, uniform and rapid rather than by its accuracy or totality, which are useful to observe trends in time, place and individuals, which can be used to observe or anticipate changes in order to perform the appropriate actions including research and/or implementation of control measures for food and nutrition problems.[1] Conceptual development of a SISVAN involves different elements: • Food and Nutrition Security • Information System • Food and Nutrition Surveillance process [1] Last John M.
