Values: Values of IEC-INCAP are equity, excellence, solidarity, respect and integrity.

Ethical Principles: The work of IEC is based on the basic principles of ethical behavior and is consistent with the Standards of Conduct for the International Civil Service, the Charters of United Nations and the Organization of American States.  

 These Principles are:

• Loyalty to the goals and mission of INCAP and the Central American Integration System;
• Integrity, honesty and fairness in all actions and decisions that may affect INCAP;
• Transparency and Justice;
• Respect for the dignity, worth and equality of others;
• Independence from external authorities; 
• Tolerance towards different cultures and viewpoints.

These basic principles are the standards by which our conduct and ethical behavior are measured.
